Why I want to be A Designer

         I am fresh out of high school an starting my career at Keiser University. My name is Jennifer and I am going to Keiser to study computer graphic design and multimedia. When I was in high school I didn't know for sure what I wanted to do.  When11th grade came around I was put in a computer graphic design class and I loved it.  A student from Keiser came to my high school and showed us the program they had for computer graphic design at the college. She passed out cards to me and my classmates and said that if we was intrested to put our number, name, and e-mail down. About a month later I recieved a phone call from Ana Revera asking if I would like to tour the school. I then wast set up to start class august 30th. Now im here on my 3rd day of class learning how to blog. The teacher is great and there is only 7 students all together in this class. I am hoping to be able to get the 1 on 1 time that I need when I have questions about the class. I am looking forward to this class here at Keiser.
         I would like to design because I would get to use my mind and make my ideas come true. There is also alot of jobs with the experience of graphic design. With the economy being bad it would be a great opportunity. Although there is alot of people studying on computers and graphic design and all the technology coming out, theres not that many out of my family who has went to college and done what they wanted to do.  I want to be successful in life and have a good paying job. I wanna be able to have a family and be able to support my kids and give them things that I never had when I was growing up. I wanna wake up everyday wanting to go to a job that I love to do. I can't draw at all but I believe I have artistic skills somewere in my mind were I could bring my ideas to life either on the computer or pictures.  I don't know everything I need to know about graphic design but my mind is ready to learn what I need to know to make me successful.
